Picture Your Perfect Pal
Think about who would benefit the most from what you offer. Picture your ideal customer. What do they like? What problems do they have that you can solve? Get specific! The clearer you are about who you're looking for, the easier it'll be to find them. If you can think of someone you know is your perfect customer, put their picture on the wall and design everything to suit them.
Niche, Niche and Niche Again
You can't appeal to everyone - so you need to discover your niche. Ideally it should be and inch wide and a mile deep, i.e. very targetted but with enough cutsiners to aim at. As you know I'm a golf nut so here is an example of a golf teacher.
Go Where They Hang Out
Once you know who you're looking for, it's time to go where they hang out. Are they on social media? Hanging out in certain neighbourhoods or online forums? By knowing where your ideal customers spend their time, you can reach out to them more effectively.
Listen Up
When you find your potential customers, listen to what they have to say. What are their needs and desires? What challenges are they facing? By listening carefully, you can tailor your offerings to better meet their needs.
Be Authentic
Be yourself and let your genuine personality shine through. Authenticity is key to attracting the right customers who resonate with who you are and what you stand for.
Build Relationships
